MU TO SIGHT SHAWWAL CRESCENT
The Observatory Unit at the Astronomical Observatory in Hawtat Sudair has embarked on sighting Shawwal crescent based on Um Al-Qura Calendar.
The Observatory stated that based on the scientific calculations made by the Observatory on Tuesday 29 Ramadan (11th May 2021), the moon will sunset before the sun while on Wednesday 30 Ramadan (12 May 2021), the sun is expected to sunset in Mecca at 6:50 pm and the crescent at 7:12 pm.
