MU RECTOR CHAIRS THE FIFTH MEETING OF THE UNIVERSITY COUNCIL FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 1441/1442 AH

On behalf of the Minister of Education and Chairman of the university council, MU rector, Dr. Khalid al-Muqren, chaired the fifth meeting of the university council for the academic year 1441/1442 AH in the conference hall, in the presence of vice-rectors and deans as well as the general secretary of universities affairs council, Dr. Mohammed al-Saleh- who attended the meeting virtually.

The meeting was launched by a welcoming speech for the rector who commended the efforts expanded by all members since the outbreak of the pandemic Covid-19, particularly the success of the educational process. Dr. al-Muqren attributed the great achievements of the university to the generous support of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz, His Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz and the Minister of Education.

The council members extended their thanks to MU rector for the guidance and follow-up, since the establishment of the university, which resulted in the success of the educational process at all colleges.

Several topics listed on the agenda were address in the meeting, and many administrative and academic decisions were issued such as the restructuring of some of the departments, establishing new programs and approval for recruitment.
