MU STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN 8TH OVERSEAS VISIT TO AZERBAIJAN

Represented by the Dean’s Office for Student Affairs, a group of MU students took part in the international visit to Azerbaijan from the period 1-8/07/2019. The arrangement of the visit was made under the Secretariat General of the Gulf Cooperation Council in accordance with the approval of the Deans of Student Affairs Committee at Universities and institutions of Higher Education.

Including 16 Saudi and gulf universities, MU’s delegation included Mr. Faris Al-Faris, Vice-Dean of Student Affairs, along with a number of outstanding students: Abdullah Al-Salem, Ibrahim Al-Anazi and Mohammad Al-Shammari.
The 8-day visit began by an orientation meeting in the presence of all participants and the Director of Higher Education Sector at SGGCC, Mr. Mohammad Al-Twaijri. Then several stops were made at Azerbaijan University for Diplomatic Science, Baku Engineering University, and Heydar Aliyev Center. The tour was finished with a stop at a number of tourism sites such as Gebele city.
The visit was wrapped up by a closing ceremony under the patronage of the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia in Azerbaijan, Dr. Hamad Khudair, who highlighted in a speech to students the necessity of demonstrating GCC’s culture and learning from the culture of others.
Dr. Khalid Al-Ofaisan, Dean of SAD, extended his thanks to MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren and Vice-Rector, Dr. Ahmed Al-Rumaih, for their support and directive to the students who participated in this visit.
