MU Scouts launches ‘Suqia Program’

As part of its summer volunteer programs, MU scouts launched the ‘suqia program’ in Majmaah, zulfi and Ghat governorates as well as all surrounding centers. The program is part of a series of programs conducted under the directive of the Dean of Student Affairs and the follow-up of head of sports and scouts activity department. The aim of the program is to deliver water to workers who spend long hours under the sun. More than 50 scout boys have participated in distributing over 300 boxes of water to more than 1000 persons. It is considered the last summer volunteer program to be conducted after a series of programs ranged from Iftar to visiting patients and distributing Zakat Al-Fiter with the help of ‘Sawa’ed’ Association. The Head of Sports and Scouts Activity Department, Mr. Nasser Al-Hanou, extended his thanks to the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Khalid Al-Ofaysan, for his support and follow-up. The Dean of Student Affairs also expressed his thanks to MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren and to the vice-rector for educational affairs, Dr. Ahmed Al-Rumaih for their support and follow-up. Thanks were also extended to all scout members for their commendable efforts to run these summer volunteer programs.
