MU BOY SCOUTS THAT PARTICIPATED IN GENERAL SERVICE OF HAJJ MEET THE RECTOR

MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Muqren welcomed in his office the boy scouts who participated in the general service program of Hajj for the year 1440 in the presence of the Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Al-Rumaih, Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Khalid Al-Ofaysan, Supervisor of MU Rector’s Office, Dr. Abdel Aziz Al-Rushood, Dean of Admission and Registration, Dr. Saud Al-Muqhem, Vice-Dean for Student Affairs, Mr. Faris Al-Faris and a number of staff. MU Rector, Dr. Al-Muqren extended his thanks to the students for representing the university in serving pilgrims. “The university always strives to pave the way for students who are inspired to serve this nation” added Dr. Al-Muqren. Dr. Al-Muqren highlighted the importance of activities beside the academic achievement, particularly the volunteer community programs. At the end of the visit, certificates of appreciation were handed to the boy scouts in recognition of their efforts to serve pilgrims followed by a memorial photos taken with the Rector. The boys scout, in return, submitted to the Rector a brief report that highlight the various stages of the boy scouts’ participation in the general service program of Hajj for the year 1440. The Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Al-Ofaysan thanked MU Rector for receiving and supporting the boy scouts, stated by the head of Sports and Scouts Department, Mr. Nasser Al-Hannu.
