His Highness the University Rector Dr. Khaled Sa’ad Almuqrin opened the exhibition that is held on the sidelines of the preparatory forum for the fifth scientific conference on Wednesday 22/2/1435. It was held by Deanship of Student Affairs. In fact, the forum included a number of wings: Department of Scientific Researches and Community Service and Inventions, Photography and Painting Wing. Moreover, the exhibition included some parts of the activities of Deanship of Student Affairs as well as a number of paintings and participations of the university students. Then, his highness the University Rector Dr. Khaled Sa’ad Almuqrin honored the speech ceremony that the Deanship organized on the occasion. the celebration started with some verses from the Noble Qura’an recited by the student Abdullah Alne’ami. This was followed by a speech by Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Hamad Abdullah Alghemeizi in which he mentioned the activities of the fifth scientific conference for female and male students of higher education that will achieve the following objectives: 1. giving chances to the talented students; 2. developing the the culture of scientific research, creativity and invention; 3. encouraging the students to volunteer in creating artistic and media work; 4. Instilling in the students minds the principles of scientific competition; 5. developing the spirit of teamwork; 6. and building the bridges of scientific communication between female students and male students acrosss the kingdom. Dr. Alghemeizi also cited that consecutive accomplishments and constant communication between the organizeng committees contributed to raising the number of participants 50% more than the previous year. Dr. Alghemeizi offered thanks to his highness the University Rector for his constant support and sponsorship for the Deanship programs and activities. He also extended thanks to the members of supervising committees for the forum activities. Then, a documentary film was broadcasted, and there was a student speech given on their behalf by the student Ibrahim Alieedan in which he mentioned what the university has achieved and still achieving has a great impact on the students accomplishments; and consequently the students and the university share the aspirations and struggle in order to reach the top. The proof for that is the results of the past conference held in Makkah Almukarramah. Then, the sponsor of the celebration the University Rector gave a speech in which he extended thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Abdulaziz and his Crown Prince his highness Prince Salman Abdulaziz, may Allah protect them, for what higher education is receiving of unlimited support that higher up the ranking of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and made it compete with the advanced countries academically and scientifically. Dr. Almuqrin also offered thanks to the Minister of Higher Education Dr. Khaled Alanqari for his concern, attention and support for whatever pertaining to the university in particular and other universities in general and for his constant follow-up for all the university achievements and history. His highness added that what he has witnessed of the students achievements is all a blessing from Allah on the university. We have achieved all this by the grace of Allah and the unlimited support from higher administration and hardworking by students and staff as one team. Thus; the results were so positive and fruits of hardworking were easy to gain. Although this university is still young compared to other old university, it is able to accomplish a lot of great achievements that was proved in the great achievements of the forth scientific conference . In fact, the university was able to achieve high places compared to other Saudi universities. His highness added that the university should continue on this scale and work professionally and diligently for the achievements to continue. In the end, the first places winners marched towards the stage to receive their prizes from his highness the University Rector.
