Deanship of Student Affairs Takes Part in the International Trip of Universities of Co-operation Council

According to the directions of his Highness the University Rector Dr. Khaled Sa'ad Almuqrin, the university, represented by Deanship of Student Affairs, took part in the international trip of universities of Co-operation Council Countries. It was held during this academic year 1433/1434 in Britain. The Deanship elected the student Khaled Mohammad Alhusseini to participate in this trip based on the criteria decided by Co-operation Council and the Deanship. This was stated by his Excellency Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Hamad Abdullah Alghemeizi who indicated that this trip aims at exchanging cultures and visits between the students of Gulf countries. In fact, this trip includes the receiving of the delegation at Heathrow airport in London. The next day, the delegation went to see London Tower followed by a sea trip. The third day, the delegation visited Oxford University, Crest College and Bicester Village. Throughout the visit of colleges, the delegation was introduced to the departments, labs and lecture halls. Moreover, the delegation made a visit to Windsor Castle and Madame Tussauds museum. Then, they visited Stonehenge and Roman Bath. Afterwards, a visit was made to King's College in Cambridge University, the British Museum, the National Exhibition and East London. Then, the delegation paid a visit to Buckingham Palace, Hampton Arena and Arsenal Sporting Club. At the end of the trip, Dr. Alghemeizi expressed his thanks and appreciation to his Highness the University Rector Dr. Khaled Sa'ad Almuqrin for his constant support and sound directions for Deanship of Student Affairs. He added that the Rector's directions have contributed to the achievement of goals and aspirations. Dr. Alghemeizi also extended thanks to his Excellency vice President for Educational Affairs Prof. Dr. Mohammad Alrokban for his continuous support for the Deanship and participation in the activities.
