Deanship of Student Affairs' Student Delegation Participated in the Fifth International Exhibition for Inventions in the Middle East, Kuwait

 

Deanship of Student Affairs' students delegation, (as university representatives) Participated in the Fifth International Exhibition for patents which was held in Kuwait from 18 - 22/11/2012 under the auspices of His Highness the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. All praise be to Allah that the university achieved great success by obtaining the first and second positions, and winning the golden medal with honor as well as the silver medal. Also, the University participated in the exhibition with a device for measuring hemoglobin percentage in the blood without blood sampling.
The inventor of such an invention received the golden medal with honors. Also, this invention has been nominated for participating in the Geneva International Conference for Patents. Out of students who joined the team that executed the invention is the student: Ahmed Ayman Almadhoun. The university obtained the silver medal for participating with a device of trunk balance rehabilitation, and it has been ranked by International Jerdan Authorities Company. Out of students that joined the team that executed this invention is the student: Sultan Eiyadah Alanzi.
The number of countries that participated in the exhibition is hundred and forty-five countries with one hundred and twenty-five patents. Aside from that, vice dean for Student Activities offered thanks and appreciation to the University Rector Dr. Khalid Saad Almuqrin for his unlimited support for Deanship and its various activities and diverse programs. He also expressed his appreciation to the Rector for overcoming any obstacles that the deanship may face at the level of students and their participations in different activities.
