Since Deanship of Student Affairs is so concerned with providing excellent services to female and male university students, Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Hamad Abdullah Alghemaizi signed a contract with Alsheqri Bookstore for running bookstores to sell university books to students on the University campus at a discounted price.
A member of the Student Services Committee in deanship Mr. Abdullah Al-Zahrani explained that Deanship of Student Affairs is very keen on providing all facilities for students on campus. Moreover, according to the contract, Alsheqri Bookstore is responsible for equipping three sites with textbooks in the following locations:
A - University City in ALmajmaah
B- College of Education in Almajmaah (Women's campus)
C - Complex colleges in Alzulfi
Alzahrani added that Alsheqri Bookstore is committed to selling the textbooks at lower prices and give special discounts for University students on foreign books less than their counterparts in the local market. In fact, prices reduction may reach (20-40%). In addition to that, Alsheqri Bookstore offers free copies of every textbook requested for university faculty members. Alsheqri Bookstore is committed to providing free search service in the databases of books and scientific journals for students and faculty members. In cooperation with the grand research centers, Alsheqri Bookstore will provide free copies of the latest publications and developed teaching aids. The contract was signed in Deanship of Student Affairs, University City. Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Hamad Abdullah Alghemaizi, and Mr. Khalil Rashid Harkan represented Alsheqri Bookstore.
Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Alghemeizi offered deep thanks and appreciation to the University Rector Dr. Khalid Saad Al-muqrin for his wise directions that always stress on providing the best services to University students.
