Providing Technical Encyclopedic Four-Language Dictionary Arabterm Free on the Internet

This technical dictionary (ArabTerm: ArabTerm.Org) is issued by the Arabian Organization for Education, Culture and Sciences (Alekso) in conjunction with Federal Ministry for Economic Co-operation and Development in Republic of United Germany. This dictionary has developed through a local project financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Co-operation and Development, and executed by GTZ (The German Establishment for Technical Co-operation) since 2008 in co-operation with the German Institute of Jutah. It is an independent project based upon some procedures to unify Arabic technical terms that is supervised by the office of coordinating Arabicizing in Rabat on behalf of the Arabian Organization for Education, Sciences and Culture. These procedures are subject to the decrees of periodical Arabicizing conferences held by the Arabian Organization for Education, Culture and Sciences. Participants in these conferences are representatives of the linguistics councils come from the members of Arab League. Arabic Ministries of Education have contributed to issue this unified dictionary through the Arabian Organization for Education, Sciences and Culture. The asterisk mark in the Arabterm next to the words and materials indicates that they have gone through this Arabicizing process. The technical dictionary "Arbterm" is planned to be ordered according to technology and other different industrial fields. It will be a tool accessible to everyone in order to obtain unified translations for scientific textbooks and technological texts elated to these majors. The first volume of this dictionary has been available (Automobiles Engineering) on the internet since May 2010. Also, it is available for use by everyone with no charge. It has been decided that other volumes in different industrial fields will be available. We urge the users to contribute to this huge project. In fact, the interactive dialogue club makes it easy for the users to discuss topics related to their fields and exchange various points of view about what they have faced about language problems. Also, there is a chance of adding some suggestions and recommendations. These recommendations and suggestions represent the base for annual reviews of data storages that are conducted by participating specialists of Arabs and Germans.
