The Organising Committee for the Rector’s Award of excellence in e-learning ends participation and nomination duration

The Organising Committee for the Rector’s Award of excellence in e-learning in its second season ended the participation and nomination duration after extending of the period for the first five categories of the award, where the participants’ names and winning departments will be declared in the coming days, and that is after the end of judgment committee work which is  currently sorting nominees and participations, receiving participations in 6th and 7th categories will last until the second midterm of this year.

In this context, the Vice-Rector and the Dean of e-learning Dr. Musallam bin Mohammed Al-Dosari stated that the number and quality of participations is the best expression of the position reached by this award during the past two years.

Also, he stated that sorting participations will be subject to accurate scientific criteria of the most important of which is achieving of the vision, mission and objectives of the award and this is what the Scientific Committee of the Award is working on.

It is noteworthy that "the Rector’s Award of Excellence in E-Learning," which was founded in 1434, is an annual award offered by the Rector of Majmaah University Dr. Khalid bin Saad Al-Mugren of creative designers in e-learning from the employees of the university in recognition and appreciation of their and their distinctiveness and the Award is offered at the annual ceremony attended by the Staff of the university and its students which  aims to encourage excellence and innovation in e-learning, and the development of the faculty members and students capability in the field of e-learning, share experiences and disseminate the best practices in e-learning, and contribute to the development of e-learning in the university, and appreciation of excellence in the field of e-learning.
