Based on the approval of the Rector Dr. Khalid Bin Saad Al-Mugrin and in a follow-up of HE Dr. Musallam Al-Dosari the Dean of e-learning and distance learning, a delegation of the TV. network activation committee at the Deanship of e-learning and distance learning visited e-learning and IT Deanships at Umm Al-Qura University. The delegation included the head of the committee HE Dr. Khaled Al-mudairbi, and members of the committee Dr.Khaled Al-Shabanat, Maryam Al-Otaibi and Munira Al-Baddah. The delegation was briefed on the experience of Umm Al Qura University in the use of TV. network in transferring lectures between faculty members and students. The delegation also visited the Deanship of e-learning and the Deanship of Information Technology There and viewed the facilities that are available there. The delegation listened to a presentation from the Deanship of e-learning about services provided for faculty members in light of the capabilities available and most prominent future plans. Also, the IT Dean gave a presentation on the deanship technologies that are available and how they work. In addition, the delegation visited a number of television studios at the Deanship to see how they work and its experience in reality.
