The Deanship Organises a Workshop for Faculty Members in Collaboration with the American Company Pearson Vue

The Deanship of e-learning and distance learning and training organised a workshop for faculty members in collaboration with the American company Pearson Vue. The workshop lasted for more than six hours and addressed a number of themes for the tests and its e-systems and how to create a bank of questions and scientific standards to write test items; in terms of its psychometric properties. Also, the workshop dealt with themes related to the scientific methodologies of creating tests according to the latest global trends at the moment like the e-tests system ExamDeveloper test developed by Pearson Vue. The workshop had arguments that reflected its impact on raising its efficiency. It was moderated by HE the Vice Dean of e-learning and distance learning meeting Dr. Omar Saeedi, which noted that the scientific content of the workshop will be available to all faculty members on a link on the deanship website. At the end of the meeting, HE the Vice Rector Dr. Musallam bin Mohammed Al-Dosari gave a gratitude speech to the interaction. Then certificates were distributed to trainees. It is worth mentioning that HE announced that an award bearing the name of the Rector offered to members in a contest for the best item bank at the university.
