In a dynamic effort to bridge theory with practice, the Student Affairs Unit, in collaboration with the Economic and Administrative Programs Unit at the Applied College organized a special event titled “Art of Marketing.” This initiative was part of a series of activities designed to integrate academic knowledge with real-world applications in marketing and digital advertising.
The event aimed to highlight innovative and unconventional marketing ideas that align with the fast-paced digital market, emphasizing creativity in presentation and persuasion, while leveraging modern digital marketing tools.
A variety of creative booths were featured, including pottery painting, clay modeling, and bag illustration—artistic expressions that showcased students’ talents and highlighted their potential to be marketed as authentic, locally inspired products. Other booths were dedicated to promoting creative small businesses, with students presenting their products in fields such as specialty coffee, handmade jewelry and accessories, and abaya design. Their displays reflected a practical understanding of marketing principles and visual merchandising.
The event also gave students the opportunity to experience real-life marketing by engaging directly with visitors, receiving feedback, and refining their business ideas. This hands-on interaction helped boost their confidence and motivated them to further develop their entrepreneurial ventures in the future.
