The Social Responsibility Observatory, represented by the Voluntary Work Center, organized, in collaboration with the College of Dentistry, a workshop titled "The Role of Universities in Leading Voluntary Health Work." The workshop was moderated by an expert in Sustainable Development Goals and Applications, Mr. Khalid Al-Dhiyabi, and was presented by the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Prof. Nasser Al-Darawi.
The workshop addressed several important topics, including the significance of universities in volunteering within the healthcare sector, the scientific framework for the leadership role of universities in health volunteering, as well as the global impact of implementing health volunteering. The workshop also focused on health volunteering in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, concluding with a discussion about the state of health volunteering in Saudi universities with a focus on Majmaah University.
This event is part of the university's efforts to enhance its role in social responsibility and promote health-related volunteer work, in line with Saudi Vision 2030, which supports health and community sustainability.
