The Family and Childhood Center at the Social Responsibility Observatory organized a workshop entitled (Smart Applications in Child Care and Parental Control). The workshop aimed to educate parents about the importance of using smart applications to monitor children's online activities and enhance digital protection.

The workshop was presented by Dr. Faisal Al-Shammari, academic and technology and applications expert, who spoke about the most prominent applications in the field. The workshop was moderated by Dr. Duaa Al-Hazmi, supervisor of the Family and Childhood Center.

The workshop included several topics including how to monitor online activity and the most important applications in this field. The workshop also addressed educational and technical steps to protect children in the digital space. This workshop is an extension of many workshops presented by the Social Responsibility Observatory at the university to help the society and spread awarness.
