The Special Needs Services Center conducts a meeting on The Rights of the Elderly in Legislative and Institutional Frameworks

In conjunction with the International Day of Older Persons, the Special Needs Services Center held, in partnership with Saudi CIFAL and in cooperation with the Human Rights Commission, a meeting entitled (The Rights of the Elderly in Legislative and Institutional Frameworks).

The meeting was moderated by Dr. Kholoud Al-Asmari, a faculty member at Majmaah University and was addressed by Prof. Aljawhara Al-Zamil, a member of the Human Rights Commission Council, who addressed three important topics including the Kingdom's interest in establishing the rights of the elderly legislatively and institutionally, the systems that take into account the rights of the elderly in the Kingdom, and the Kingdom's international obligations regarding the elderly.

This meeting comes within a series of community and qualitative programs provided by the Social Responsibility Observatory for People with Special Needs.
