A lecture by the Observatory on “The Role of Society towards Disabled Persons”

As part of the university’s interest into social responsibility to keep up with the Kingdom’s vision 2030 and to celebrate the International Day of Disabled Persons 2020, a lecture entitled “The Role of Society towards Disabled Persons” was delivered by the Disabled Persons Services Center at the Social Responsibility Observatory.

The aim of this lecture is to highlight the duties of society towards this category to make it easy for them to engage in all aspects of development. It also intends to promote the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities in all spheres of society and development.

Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari, the vice-rector and chairman of Social Responsibility Observatory Board, pointed out that such programs are conducted as part of the university’s pursuit to support disabled persons and overcome potential obstacles that may impede their engagement in achieving development plans’ requirements.

Prof. Al-Dosari extended his thanks to MU rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Muqren for his support to all developmental initiatives.
