At the request of the rector, Prof. Saleh Al-Mezal, and the follow-up of the vice-rector for development and investment, Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari, the supervisor of the Administration of Endowments, Dr. Adel Al-Turki, participated in the eighteenth meeting of the Coordinating Council for Endowments of Saudi Universities, which was held at King Khalid University, Abha. The meeting was attended by representatives from the General Authority of Endowments and a group of specialists in the Ministry of Education.
The first day of the meeting featured a lengthy workshop comprising three sessions. The first session was entitled: Governing Systems and Possible Organizational Regulations for the University Endowment (Challenges and Solutions); the second session titled: University Endowment Companies (benchmarking), and the third session entitled: Sustainable investment motives in Saudi university endowments.
The second day focused on holding the eighteenth meeting of the Coordinating Council for Saudi Universities, followed by a meeting with the rector of King Khalid University to review the recommendations of the meeting and the workshops.
