END OF YEAR STUDENTS’ ACTIVITIES CEREMONY

The College of Sciences and Humanities in Remaah (Female Campus) held a ceremony to celebrate the achievements of students’ activities for the year 2012/2013, on Wednesday 8th May 2013, in the presence of female student campus director, Ms. Maha al-Thahee, a number of faculty members, staff and the students.

The ceremony began with the recitatio of a few verses from Holy Qur’an, followed by a speech from the Director of the female Campus in which she thanked the Rector of the University, and commended the efforts of the previous college dean. Also, she welcomed the new dean of the college. Further, she expressed her deep joy for her distinctive students wishing them every success in both the scientific and career life. After that, a comprehensive presentation was delivered about this year’s activities.

During the ceremony, the gifted student Naflaa Ali al-Subai’y was honored for achieving the first place twice in the university level competition for the memorizing of the holy Qur’an. On the other hand, a few students from every department honored some of their professors or their efforts. By the end of the ceremony, a number of students who took part in the campus activities were awarded.
