THE UNIVERSITY PARTICIPATES IN THE INTERNATIONAL TRIP ORGANIZED BY THE WORLD FEDERATION OF MUSLIM SCOUTS

 

In reference to the  approval of his Excellency, the  Rector of the university, Dr. Khalid bin Saad Al Muqrin, an official delegation, from the Deanship of Student Affairs in the university,  participated in the fifth international trip of visits and cultures exchange for the students of Saudi Universities , which was organized by the World Federation of Muslim Scouts to the Kingdom of Morocco. His Excellency, Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Hamad bin Abdullah Al Kemaizy headed the delegation, Mr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Ofaisan, Vice Deanship of Student Activities supervised the students. His Excellency, Dean of Student Affairs and head of the delegation, Dr. Hamad bin Abdullah Al Kemaizy, stated that the trip has included many scientific visits to a number of universities, national libraries of Morocco, visit a number of archaeological sites, also included attending a workshop entitled "Young Scientists of Outstanding and Talented" , which addressed some lectures revolve around Muslim youth, and their role in confronting the challenges facing them in the light of globalization. On the next day His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz bin Othman Altwaijri, General Director of the Islamic Organization of Education, Science and Culture (ISESCO), welcomed the delegations, he stated the goals of the Organization and its role in serving the Arab community as well as the Islamic one. The delegation visited the Embassy of  the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, in Morocco Kingdom. The delegation was welcomed by the Embassy Charge d'Affaires, where they discussed different issues about the youth of Saudi Arabia and their role in the progress of the Kingdom. Then the delegation moved to visit the University of  Hassan II in Casablanca(ad-Dār al-Bayḍāʼ), and was welcomed by the Rector of the University, also they visited the library of the University of "Mohammed Al Saqaat" , the most renowned library in Casablanca (ad-Dār al-Bayḍāʼ). On the last day, the president of the delegation visited the National Library in Rabat, which is the largest library in the Arab world and Africa, and he visited the University of Mohammed V Al Souissi; the oldest university in Morocco, the visit included the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Pharmacy, and the College of Engineering, then the visit was concluded by visiting the Scientific Research Center in Rabat. The student delegation was represented by the student Hani Enzi, Faculty of Medicine, and the student Ahmed Aqeel, Faculty of Business Administration, and the student Ahmad Rashidi, Faculty of Engineering, and the student Abdullah Alsagyani, Faculty of Science in Zulfi. The students, mentioned above,  expressed  their huge benefit earned from this visit, where they expressed their thanks to the his Excellency, the Rector of the university and  the Deanship of Student Affairs for giving them such an opportunity to participate and represent the University in this visit. Dr.Hamad bin Abdullah Al Kemaizi expressed his thanks and appreciation to his Excellency, the Rector of the university, Dr. Khaled Al Muqrin, for his support, encouragement and continuous interest in the Deanship of Student Affairs, which contributed to the development of programs, activities and services of the Deanship. Dr. Hamad bin Abdullah Al Kemaizi expressed his thanks and appreciation to the International Union of Muslim Scouts to implement such programs, which aim to introduce the students of the Islamic universities to the cultural development in the Islamic world countries, as they contribute to strengthen the links between  the Saudi university students.
