THE RECTOR PATRONIZES THE CEREMONY OF CELEBRATING THE UNIVERISTY VICTOR AT THE WORLD SUMMIT AWARD 2015

Under the patronage of MU Rector, Dr. Khalid S. Al-Mugren, the university celebrated the achivemet of getting the first position in the World Summit Award competition 2015 which was held in Geneva, Switzerland.

The Vice-Rector, Dr. Musallam Al-Dosari delivered a speech in which he attributed this achievement to the ongoing support of the university Rector and his encouragement. He added that the university primary concern was to compete at the domestic level owing to the fact that the university is still a newly established university, however, due to the hardworking of the university members and the trust of the university Rector, the university managed to attain this great achievement.  

It is worth noting that the university has participated in category 7 ( information technology and telecommunication – e-government) with the committee system. The system is developed by the Deanship of E-learning and Distance Education. the primary purpose of the system is to manage the process of meetings electronically. The system is deemed innovative as it enables the members of committee to sign the sessions electronically. Dr. Musallam received the award on behalf of the Rector, Dr. Al-Mugren.
