THE UNIVERSITY RECTOR PATRONIZES THE CEREMONY OF COMPETITION FOR MEMORIZING KORAN AND SUNNAH

In conclusion of the competition held by the Deanship of Student Affairs for memorizing Koran and Sunnah, the University Rector, Dr. Khalid S. Al-Mugren patronized the ceremony of the competiton for memorizing Koran and Sunnah. More than (300) students have participated in the competition.

The ceremony included a speech delivered by the dean of student affairs, Dr. Hamad Al-Gumeizy where he made a reference to the importance and great value that could be gained from memorizing Koran and Sunnah in this life and hereafter.

Addressing the audience, the University Rector, Dr. Al-Mugren delivered a speech where he extended his thanks and appreciation to the deanship of student affairs for hosting this competition. Appreciations were also expressed to students’ guardian for the amount of care given to their children.

The ceremony was concluded by awarding winners of the competition followed by memorial shots. Dr. Al-Gumeizy thanked all the other parties that contributed in substance and value to the success of this event.
