THE COLLEGE OF MEDICINE PARTICIPATES IN THE FIRST CONFERENCE TO BE HELD UNDER THE TITLE : MUSCLE DISEASES AND PERIPHERAL NERVE DISORDERS

The Faculty of Medicine, represented by Dr. Islam Shousha, assistant professor of neurology, Participates in the First Saudi Conference to be Held under the title: Muscle Diseases and peripheral nerve disorders. He delivered a speech about a kind of seldom disease , namely , inheritance muscular atrophy, which inflicted upon 12 Saudi families. He conducted a research a study dealing with such a disease as it compared the rate of disease spread in Saudi to its spread in other parts of the world. It is worth mentioning that such paper is considered the first of its kind in Saudi. Dr. Talal Alharbi , the head of the conference honored Dr. Shousha for his effective participation , asserting the idea that the findings and the results of the study enrich the science of muscles diseases with very invaluable data. Dr. Khalid Abdelwehab, the dean of the Faculty is interested in supporting such effective and objective participation.
