THE UNIVERSITY OF KUWAIT MEETS HIS EXCELLENCY THE RECTOR OF THE UNIVERSITY VIA A LIVE SHOW

Through live broadcast of the channel of Kuwait University, his Excellency the Rector of the university our participation in this meeting is an emphasis on our constant interaction with every academic mobility and educational activity. Studio of Kuwait University, through the channel of the University, hosted in live broadcast his Excellency the Rector of the university ,Dr. Khalid bin Saad Al Muqrin, on the sidelines of the Twentieth Meeting of the Committee of Heads and Rectors of universities and institutions of higher education in the states of Gulf Cooperation Council, which will be held during the period from 13 to 15 October, 2014, and will be hosted by the University of Kuwait. Thus, in the midst of the meeting, his Excellency the Rector of the university reviewed a number of aspects that concern male and female students of Gulf Countries regarding the Higher Education, also he reviewed some of the discussions that took place during the meeting such as research funding and incentives for scientific research, as well as the investment in the outputs of scientific research. His Excellency also explained during the meeting that the university's participation in this meeting is an emphasis on its constant interaction with every academic mobility and educational activity, and a continuation of previous participations on the local and regional level, and the contribution honourably to represent the nation and strengthen its position, and look at the latest developments at the level of higher education, and the concomitant evolution in all educational and technical areas as well as the administrative organizations. His Excellency stated in regard to  the acceptance of male and female students from the states of Gulf Cooperation Council that this is an important issue because we belong to one country, where we share ties of blood  kinship, and religion, adding that the University of Majmaah has a collection of 60 Kuwaiti students in different sections of the colleges. At the end of the interview, His Excellency expressed his thanks and appreciation to the University of Kuwait for this hospitality and the good quality of organizing this live show.
