THE VICE RECTOR OF THE UNIVERSITY PARTICIPATES IN THE PREPARATORY MEETING OF THE 20TH MEETING OF THE COMMITTEE OF HEADS AND RECTORS OF UNIVERSITIES AND INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION IN THE STATES OF GULF COOPERATION COUNCIL

His Excellency the Vice Rector of the University, Dr. Musalam bin Mohammed Al Dosari, has participated in the preparatory meeting of the twentieth meeting of the Committee of Heads and Rectors of universities and higher education institutions in the states of Gulf Cooperation Council , which was held in Kuwait on Monday 19/12/1435 H, corresponding to 13/10/2014 AD, based on the invitation of the General Secretariat of the International Arab Gulf Cooperation Council. Therefore, this meeting is a preparatory meeting of Vice Rectors and Rectors of universities and institutions of higher education of the Twentieth Meeting of Rectors of universities and higher education institutions in the states of Gulf Cooperation Council, which will be held today, Tuesday, 20/12/1435 H. During this preparatory meeting a lot of topics have been discussed, and a number of  recommendations have been taken, and the most prominent of these topics: equality among students of the Gulf states in admission and treatment at universities and public higher education institutions ,  and discuss the paper presented by the State of Qatar, which is about co-investment in education and strengthening the work in the Special Programme of education for the Gulf citizenship of the program to activate the educational aspect, while the paper presented by Kuwait included the proposal to establish a Union of Gulf Universities, and the conversion of joint programs, and the cooperation of Gulf Countries universities with clusters of Foreign Affairs, and discuss what has been reached in the project of Gulf database (bridge), and what has been reached in the subject of Excellence Award in the design and development of e-courses, and the mechanism to organize the prizes to the Committee of Rectors of universities and higher education institutions in the states of Gulf Cooperation Council, and the results and recommendations of the first conference of Business Schools at the universities in the states of Gulf Cooperation Council, and to study the possibility of providing programs required to encourage the educational mobility at the level of higher education in the universities of Council Countries.
