MU PARTICIPATES IN 3RD MEDICAL VOLUNTEERING PROGRAM AT ZAATARI REFUGEE CAMP

A group of MU staff have participated in the 3rd medical volunteering program at Zaatari Refugee Camp which was launched by King Salman Humanitarian Aid And Relief Centre. The volunteering program took place during the period 28 April to 6 May, 2019.
MU’s volunteering team includes among 14 dentists, physiotherapists, dermatologists and psychologists, Dr. Abdullah Al-Jaber, Medical Education Specialist, Dr. Turki Al-Mutairi, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Specialist at College of Dentistry.
Medical services were provided during the campaign including the diagnose of several cases in different fields. Awareness lectures were also offered for different age groups on oral hygiene.
