A WORKSHOP ON DEVELOPING VOLUNTEER PROGRAM HELD BY SRO

Patronized by Office of the Dean for Community Service and Continuous Education and in the presence of MU Vice-Rector, Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari, a workshop was conducted by the Social Responsibility Observatory (SRO) in collaboration with the Department of Civil Defense in Majmaah, on theme “How to develop a volunteer program”. Several public and private sectors have participated in the workshop.
The workshop focused on addressing a number of topics such as the significance of volunteer work, social entrepreneurship for youth and community, characteristics of entrepreneurs and how creative ideas are formed for initiatives. All participants were divided into groups to discuss a real model of how a volunteer work is developed.
