MU TABLE TENNIS TEAM WINS 2ND PLACE IN 9th TENNIS TABLE LEAGUE

The tennis table team of Majmaah University (MU) has won the second place and silver medals during its participation in the 9th tennis table league organized by the Saudi Universities Sports Federation.
20 universities and colleges from all over Saudi Arabia have participated in the league hosted by Tabuk University.
During the group stage, MU’s team was top after beating Al-Jaouf University’s team (3-0) and another triumph against Shaqra University’s team (3-1). After qualifying from the group stage, MU’s team won over Prince Sattam’s University (3-0) in the knockout stage followed by another victory in the quarter finals against Um Al-Qura University’s team (3-0). In the semi-finals stage, Jeddah University’s team was beaten by MU’s team (1-3) which was beaten by Imam Abdelrahman bin Faisal University’s team in the final match.
MU’s table tennis team (doubles) has also won second place in the league. Supervised by Mr. Nasser Al-Hanou and the coach Mr. Hisham Othman, the team consists of the following players: Sultan Al-Khamis, Naif Al-Rashed, Zeyad Al-Issa and Musa’ab Al-Issa.
Mr. Al-Hanou extended his thanks to the Dean of the College and MU Rector for their support and follow-up all the time.
