MU RECTOR LAUNCHES THE SAFE DRIVING SIMULATOR CENTER “SALIK”

Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren, MU Rector, launched the interactive center of safe driving simulator (Salik) in the presence of the Director of Industrial Institute, Eng. Meshari Al-Hamdan, the Directors of Traffic Department in Majmaah, Ghat and Zulfi, Colonel Ali Al-Ghatani, Colonel Naif Al-Hureis and Colonel Hussein Al-Rasheedi.
Upon the launch of the center by MU Rector, Dr. Al-Mugren, a brief account was given by the Director of General Department of Services, Mr. Moteb Al-Maymoni, on the basic idea of the center as well as the objectives, benefiters and the wide-ranging of services provided by the center including educational and training courses.
MU Rector commended the efforts exerted to serve the community at best, particularly the qualifying programs of safe driving for women.
Concurrently, Dr. Al-Mugren MU Rector, has also attended the ceremony held by the Department of Services to celebrate the drive of 100 million kilometers by the Transportation Department over the last ten years and the support provided by the university to improve the quality of transportation services and become safe.
The area of traffic safety, according to MU Rector, is a top-priority to the university as it is closely linked to the safety of the university employees and students. A reference was also made by Dr. Al-Mugren to the excellent cooperation of traffic departments within the university geographical area.
