A WORKSHOP AT ENGINEERING COLLEGE TITLED “ WHAT FACULTY MEMBERS EXPECT FROM QUALITY CENTER”

Under the patronage of the Dean of Engineering College Dr. Mohammad Al-Salamah, a course was held on Thursday 6-11-1434 هـ under the supervision of the quality center titled “ What are the expectations of faculty members towards the quality center?”.

The workshop began by dividing the faculty members into six groups to discuss the expected objectives of the quality center. Afterwards, an open discussion was held to discuss the outcomes of each group pertinent to the quality center units’ mechanisms of work, tasks and efficiency of work.

At the end of the workshop, Dr. Al-Salamah stressed the importance of exchanging ideas and experience in the field of quality among faculty members since it would enrich the entire process of education. He also suggested that conducting such a workshop is useful for evaluating the performance of all units as well as suggesting solutions for the obstacles of the new year. Dr. Al-Salamah also emphasized the importance of scientific research being the backbone for the educational process.
