Given the fact that the task of searching for blood donors has become daunting, the Social Responsibility Observatory in a joint effort with King Khalid Hospital, has launched a company with the theme ‘Blood Bank Club’ which aims to alter the perspective of community individuals towards blood donation and to increase their awareness with this regard. A mobile van that was allocated for this purpose, and the data of blood donors were collected in a database designed by the club. As a primary goal in every academic semester, the club has conducted around 36 campaigns for blood donation to reach 3000 units.
