PHYSIOTHERAPIST PROGRAM TO BE LAUNCHED BY NEXT ACADEMIC YEAR
The university’s council approved to launch a physiotherapist program at the College of Applied Medical Science. Admission to the program for both boys and girls will begin by the upcoming academic year 1441-1442 AH.
The dean of the College of Applied Medical Science, Dr. Mazen Al-Ghatani, extended his thanks to MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Muqren, and the university’s council for the approval to set up the program as well as the Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Al-Rumaih, for his support to facilitate the launch of the program.
Designated as one of the world’s best and modern programs, it is also deemed the first of its kind in the kingdom at male campus, following two Saudi universities that provide the program only at female campus.
The 170-hour program must be completed five years excluding the internship period.
