The missions of the committee are described in the following

1. Completing the setting of general framework for the academic system and plans, the maximum and minimum level of the number of hours in every faculty, University requirements, and other general settings that help faculties to start making detailed plans.

2. Observing the faculties in submitting the study plans, investigating whatever comes from faculties regarding plans, restructuring, merging and recommendation about it.

3. Studying the present situation in university faculties in the main campus and its branches. Also, presenting necessary suggestions for restructuring and merging whatever needed to be merged, moving whatever needed to be moved and creating new things if needed.

4. Providing consultation regarding the educational system in the university as a whole whether it has to do with time, mechanisms or any other things that contribute to enhancing performance and quality of the university products.

5. Reviewing what has been approved, working according to it, evaluating it, working on improving it and enhancing its quality and efficiency.
