Student Nutrition Unit

This unit provides healthy and balanced food to students develop in them healthy eating habits. The responsibilities of the unit include:

  • Supervise directly the meals served to students and the extent to which they are complied with health conditions.
  • Supervise the efficiency and hygiene of appliances, tools and utensil.
  • Set a nutrition timetable for meals and ensure the variety of food served.
  • Cater for lectures, competitions and seminars.
  • Supervise cafeterias at the university.
  • Promote the nutrition culture among students.
  •  Ensure that caters abide by the nutrition contract articles.
