This unit provides healthy and balanced food to students develop in them healthy eating habits. The responsibilities of the unit include:
- Supervise directly the meals served to students and the extent to which they are complied with health conditions.
- Supervise the efficiency and hygiene of appliances, tools and utensil.
- Set a nutrition timetable for meals and ensure the variety of food served.
- Cater for lectures, competitions and seminars.
- Supervise cafeterias at the university.
- Promote the nutrition culture among students.
- Ensure that caters abide by the nutrition contract articles.
