About the Department:

The Department of Family Medicine (DFM) is one of the effective departments since the establishment of the College of Medicine. The DFM strives to contribute to the mission of the College of Medicine which revolves around providing excellent medical education, serving community and offering treatment services of high quality.  

Using a state-of-the-art curriculum which qualify students to acquire necessary skills for job market, the DFM teaches the course of family medicine in grade 4 and 6.

The latest educational methods are used via simulation, seminar and lectures and discussion of medical cases at the university medical center and other health centers.

Up-to-date and evidence-based medical information are imparted to students who are also encouraged to utilize the learning resources provided by the university library and national digital library.
