Applications are submitted by research chair supervisors via the following E-forms:
Procedural Guide
The chair is established in one of three ways:
A scientific chair seeking an external funder to focus on a topic and achieve its goals by a group of the university's researchers.
A research team sets a vision for establishing a scientific chair in a topic.
A scientific chair proposed by the Vice-Rector's Office for postgraduate studies and scientific research that has a value.
This is achieved through:

ينشأ الكرسي بواحدة من ثلاث:
- كرسي علمي يرغب ممول خارجي في استحداثه في موضوع معين ويوجد في الجامعة من المهتمين من يستطيع تحقيق أهدافه.
- فريق بحثي من الجامعة يضع تصور لقيام كرسي علمي في موضوع تتميز به الجامعة من حيث المبررات والأهمية.
- كرسي علمي تقترحه وكالة الجامعة للدراسات العليا والبحث العلمي ترى جدوى استحداثه.
ويتم ذلك من خلال:

الرؤية:
مجتمع طلابي قارئ، مثقف، وواعٍ.
الرسالة:
تعزيز ثقافة القراءة بين طلاب وطالبات الجامعة، وتنظيم أنشطة وفعاليات تساهم في تنمية الفكر والمعرفة.
الأهداف:
•بناء جيل واعٍ ومثقف.
• نشر ثقافة القراءة بين الطلاب، ثم امتدادها إلى عائلاتهم والمجتمع.
• اكتشاف مواهب الطلبة واستثمارها.
• تعزيز الروابط بين الطلاب في بيئة أخوية داعمة.

The Reading Club
The Reading Club aims to inculcate the skill of reading among students and develop their critical thinking and discussion skills. The club members meet regularly to discuss selected books in a comfortable environment that encourages students to express their opinions and exchange ideas. It also contributes to enhancing social communication among its members.
The club conducts events such as meetings, workshops to improve writing and reading skills, reading competitions to encourage more students to participate.
