The primary aim of the bachelor of science in information system at the College of Computer Science and Information is to establish a system made of both individuals and computers capable of processing information. The term ‘system’ is sometimes used to refer to software of computing database management or the computer system. The information system is designed by human being to make the procedures of an organization easier. It also helps in providing officials with information to plan and monitor the activities at their organizations.

- Common first year requirements During the common first year, students learn the necessary skills to be able to register and take admission in the bachelor degree of computer science. Students also study intensive courses in English language, essentials of computer and introduction to mathematics and physics. - The university requirements Beside the common first year requirements, students need to take prerequisite courses such as Arabic language, Islamic Education and arts.

The CE program focuses on teaching the analysis, design, implementation and testing of main components (software and hardware) of modern computing systems and computer networks, by learning the scientific foundations of equipment, software and networks and their application in engineering exercises. The CE program is a 5-year study program, and the medium of instruction of all core and prerequisite courses is English. Individually or as groups, students are expected to carry out a graduation project in their last year of study.

The primary aim of the bachelor of science in computer engineering at the College of Computer Science and Information is to develop students’ skills in analyzing the relationship between computer software and devices used in the fields of business, industry and manufacture.

Vision:
To make the College of Computer Science and Information pioneering in the field of e-learning and distance education using D2L which is considered an integrated system that manage the e-learning procedures including admission and registration, placement evaluation test, course registration, courses management, assignments, progress of learners, exam management and supervision of Synchronous and asynchronous communication.

- The IT program prepares alumni to meet the needs of users at any organization, including their ability to design and integrate the application as well as manage computing techniques.
The IT program is a 5-year study program, and the medium of instruction of all core and prerequisite courses is English. Individually or as groups, students are expected to carry out a graduation project in their last year of study. The IT major offers two tracks (programs of study) from which students can choose, allowing them to focus their program on the areas of interest. The tracks are :
