This course is a study of the clinical applications within the specialty of abdominal and small parts ultrasonography. Topics of discussion include the correct use of all technical and medical terms that are necessary for a complete discussion of sonographic procedures within abdomen and small parts, related clinical symptoms and laboratory test, normal vs abnormal sonographic patterns of the anatomy studied, related disease processes and sonographic protocol for each of the exams covered in the course.

Module Title : Radiation Therapy Techniques

An in-depth study of the principles of clinical radiation oncology to include etiology, diagnosis, pathology, staging, spread patterns, simulation and treatment techniques/options, adjuvant therapies, side effects, and outcomes by site or disease category. Time will be dedicated to demonstration of techniques. This course examines special topics in radiation oncology and places emphasis on current literature related to various aspects of practice. This course is a study of techniques used for simulation and treatment delivery as well as a review of relevant clinical oncology. It includes general and site-specific instruction, with attention given to technical details aimed at optimizing the dose delivery planned during simulation and accomplished during treatment. Site-specific topics will include brain, head and neck, lung, breast, pelvis.

This course describe the introduction to methods and techniques of research in the radiological science and the topics include basic terminology of research , qualitative , quantative methods, basic research design and data analysis techniques . Also the course will use to provide a statistic course specially for health science measures using techniques and data structures relevant to clinical investigation.This course introduces the student to methods of scientific research in the health professions by studying common experimental designs and critically analyzing published research questions, design appropriate research paradigms, search the literature, and prepare preliminary research proposal.
