The General Department of Services has announced that registration and update of current status for female students interested to use the University Transportation Service is open for the second semester of the academic year 1438/1439.
Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari, vice-rector, stated that all preparations required for the second semester were completed including adding extra routes and opening registration or update for students as well as allocating special routes for students with special needs. All students can register now either through the official website of transportation or by using the smartphone app during the period 27/4-1/5/1439, added Prof. Al-Dosari.
The transportation service provided during the first semester has received numerous compliments from guardians of female students. More than 8000 students are helped to commute daily to their colleges from four different regions and eighty villages. The Transportation System developed by MU was also praised by the Minister of Education, and free versions were given to many sectors and universities upon an order from MU rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren.
