MU’S INVESTMENT FUND COMPANY SIGNS A DEAL WITH DUSIT INTERNATIONAL TO OPERATE THE UNIVERSITY'S HOTEL

At the request of MU Rector, Dr. Khalid al-Muqren, the chairman of Investment Fund Company (IFC) at MU, Prof. Hamad al-Omar, signed a deal with the Dusit International (DI) to manage and operate the university’s hotel.
Given the current situation, such investment projects are deemed necessary to diversify the sources of income. The DI was awarded the bid as it best meets the requirements of the university.
Elias Maalouf, a regional director of technical services at Dusit International, expressed his gratitude for signing the deal, highlighting that Princess Dusit at MU is the first to be established in Riyadh.
“Dusit International own and operate over 30 properties in 13 countries around the world and across six sub-brands, providing for every need of every modern traveler”, added Maalouf.
Abdelrahman al-Ghaihab, advisor of IFC, pointed out that the hotel is located on an area greater than 12000 square meter. With 155 rooms and suites, the hotel has also big spaces for guests whose stay is longer than usual.
There are also conference and celebration rooms, a restaurant with a capacity for 120 persons, sports and health facilities and swimming pool.
