MU DESIGNS AND SETS UP ITS OWN DISINFECTION BOOTHS

As optimal resource utilization and to encourage creative ideas proposed by the university staff to serve the university, the university has successfully designed and set up its own disinfection booths in the workshop of the General Administration of Operation and Maintenance.
Following the engineering design of the booth, the steel structure was constructed and a sensor mist system was installed with both a sterile tank and light.
As staff pass through the booth, they are hit with cold mist for 10 seconds containing a disinfectant supposed to sterilize staff’s clothes within short time.
The Manager of the General Administration of Operation and Maintenance, Eng. Mohammed Al-Abdelkareem, pointed out that the booths have been tested in cooperation with the concerned departments to ensure the precautionary measures are implemented.
Eng. Al-Abdelkareem extended his thanks to both MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Muqren and the Vice-Rector, Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari, for their support and follow-up to overcome the challenges facing the administration.
