A SERIES OF EDUCATIONAL LECTURES HELD FOR TALENTED HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS IN MAJMAAH

The female campus of College of Medicine held a series of educational lectures for talented high school students in grade 3 about studying medicine. It is part of the program “Academic Care for Talented High School Students” and based on a partnership with the Department of Education in Majmaah.
The 6-week program covers six main areas to qualify students for studying medicine: medical learning skills, ethics of medicine profession, community service, scientific research methodology, e-learning and medical terms.
The Dean of the College of Medicine, Dr. Khalid Al-Abdelwahab said that 24 talented high school students in grade 3 will avail themselves of this program which is under the outstanding academician, Dr. Sawsan Mustafa, Associate Professor in Community Medicine and Public Health Department and a group of faculty members at the college of medicine.
Dr. Al-Abdelwahab extended his thanks to MU Rector, Dr. Al-Muqren for his unlimited support to the college of medicine to achieve its mission.
