The University Rectorship signs a Memorandum of Understanding with Saudi Food and Drug Authority

The Rector of the University, Dr. Khaled bin Saad Al-Muqrin and the Director of the General Authority for Food and Drugs, Dr. Mohamed Bin Abdul Rahman Almashaal signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in the field of Occupational Safety and Health, which represents one of the university's steps to achieve its goals in promoting the culture of occupational safety and health in the internal and external community of the University. The aim of this agreement is also to strengthen the role of the university in the community service and to encourage academicians, researchers and specialists of the University to perform a greater role in contribution to the achievement of the vision and objectives of the University in society service. Such MOU resulted from the view of the role of the mission of the Authority in the protection of human health and its strong desire to protect workers and interest in the field of occupational safety and health, as the two parties wished to develop a framework of understanding to promote the relationship of joint cooperation between both of them. The cooperation will be in the provision of consultations, training, public awareness, evaluation and auditing in the field of occupational safety and health. The University Vice-Rector, Dr. Musallam bin Mohammed Al-Dosari said that the excellence of the University, in its first steps in this area is the result of the integrity of all employees in the University and its peaceful community, due to the attention of the University Rector and his continued follow-up on the performed and under-implemented work, which achieved a healthy and secure university environment that supports both excellence and creativity. Dr. Al-Dosari added that the Rector of the University considers occupational safety and health for students and employees among the top priority of the university.
