In charge of the Vice Rector Dr. Musallam bin Mohammed Al-Dosari the committee of projects examination and identifying its priorities and needs of university adopts several regulatory procedures for projects management; the committee adopted forms to determine the needs of projects in colleges, Deanships and departments. The committee assigned the Project Management Office to send the forms to the heads of sub-committees and developed an electronic version of these forms on the e-portal. Also, the committee adopted the user guide of requesting a new project within the project management system, which allows the user to know the requirements of the project at request, and committee entrusted the Project Management Office to give some notes and print it on the front page of the user guide put this user guide on the PMO web page.
On the other hand the committee adopted the user guide to establish the conditions and specifications manual, which allows the user to use and fill up the manual for the project put this user guide on the PMO web page.
In the framework of following up the implementation of its mission; the Committee discussed some of the colleges and deanships needs of projects, some needs were discussed like the medical College need for 10 projects, the community college need for only one project, Majmaah College of Education need for two projects, the College of Business Administration need for 3 projects, the College of Applied Medical Sciences need for one project, the Deanship of of e-learning and distance learning need for 4 projects, the Deanship of quality and skills development need for 4 projects, the Deanship of community service need for 3 projects, the Deanship of Scientific Research need for only one project and the public department for operation and maintenance need for two projects only.
The committee continues its meetings to follow up the project requests and provide needs periodically for the various departments of the university.
