The Women Training Units at the Deanship of e-learning and Distance Learning Spend a Distinct Effort in itsTraining Courses

During this semester the Deanship of e-learning and distance learning made many developmental training courses for female faculty members in the field of e-learning notably "Training the accredited trainers on e-learning system Desire2Learn" from Majmaah,Zulfi, Hutat Sudair Rummah and Ghat colleges. It is a training program dedicated to form a group of accredited trainers within the university colleges in order to depend on them to develop the skills of faculty members regarding the learning management system adopted at the university.
 
On the other hand, the Woment Training Units at the Deanship set specialised training courses to develop the skills of faculty members in the field of e-learning and its modern educational applications in university, including training course entitled (designing online questionnaires using Google Drive) held at Zulfi college campus, and a training course entitled (skills of using E-Podium) in the presence of the accredited trainers from the colleges of the University. Also, a number of workshops, including a workshop about the skills of using interactive smart boards at Zulfi College of Education, in addition to a number of training courses conducted by the accredited trainers at the Deanship to train the faculty members on the learning management system.
 
HE the Vice Dean for Development and Quality, Dr. Ali bin Hmoud Al-Harbi praised the efforts undertaken by the Women Training Unit, stressing that the training process represents the essence of the Deanship of e-learning and distance learning mission, adding that the philosophy of the Deanship considers the human resources represented in faculty member as real principal of the University. It is note worthy that that the number of courses and workshops trainees amounted to more than (150) from faculty members, while the total number of provided training hours is more than 138 hours of training.
