Upon the approval of the Rector, Dr. Khalid bin Sa'ad Almugrin, and under the supervision of the Vice-Rector and Supervisor of E-Learning Deanship, Dr. Musallam bin Mohammad Aldousary, Dr. Khalid Al-Mudairbi-Vice Dean for Academic Affairs- has represented Majma'ah University in the Workshop on designing Policies of Open Educational Resources). The Workshop, which was sponsored by the Education Minister, aimed to introduce the policies of Open Educational Resources(OER), objectives of improvement, development of a comprehensive regulatory framework of OER, and a national implementing policy. It also discussed the establishment of a sustainable path to cooperation among the Saudi educational institutions in designing, developing and enhancing the quality of e-learning content, raise the awareness of the OER and supporting the strategies and policies of OER.
