MU RECTOR VISITS E-LEARNING DEANSHIP

An inspection visit was paid by MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Muqren to the Deanship of e-Learning and Continues Education (DECE) to check the progress of distance learning.
Accompanied by both vice-rectos, Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari and Dr. Ahmed Al-Rumaih, MU Rector held a meeting with the staff of DECE who were encouraged for their efforts and were required to work as a team to serve students in line with the expectations of the country leaders.
During the meeting, MU Rector reviewed a report prepared by the DECE which includes statistics of the e-learning courses developed by the university and the training plans which aim to develop the skills of students and faculty members in modern education systems.
MU Rector was also briefed about the plan set by the DECE to overcome the difficulties encountered in using virtual classes. An alternative plan was developed to integrate ZOOM Video Communication with the Blackboard system in a way that enables students to access ZOOM via the Blackboard.
MU Rector ended up his visit by touring the e-learning training and technical support section at the DECE.
