The Deanship of E-learning and Distance Learning Announces for the Second Phase of its Training Plan

The Deanship of e-learning and distance learning announced for the second phase of its training plan, which includes a series of training courses in e-learning management system (D2L) in addition to the courses related to the electronic educational equipment addressed to all faculty members in all the colleges of the university.
 
The training plan includes a practical training package courses in order to develop the skills of the trainees of the faculty members to qualify them to use the learning management system, through training to access the system and the build an educational content, assignments, quizzes, manage files, forums and posts, virtual classrooms and announcements in addition to its application on smartphones.
 
HE the Vice Rector and the Dean of e-learning and distance learning, Dr. Musallam bin Mohammed Al-Dosari ensured that the second phase of the training plan with its two sections for men and women is marked by updating the quality of the training courses, and the special attention to the university needs to quality, stressing that the Deanship seeks through the training courses to achieve benefit reach from the new learning management system in the educational process and to handle the electronic educational equipment and to achieve the principle of educational support for faculty members and students at the university.
 
Registration Instructions:
 
  • Registration is electronically through the e-services portal- the Deanship of e-learning and distance learning.
  • Each trainee is entitled to choose a training course from each area.
  • Training courses target the faculty members of both genders.
  • Registration Priority is for those who have never took a course in the first phase.
  • Each trainee must choose the appropriate course for his/her location, and the appropriate language too.
  • Each training course lasts for 3 days from 9:00 pm - 4:00 pm.
  • Each trainee should take the approval to participate, knowing that the Deanship isn't responsible.
  • Location will be attached in a training acceptance SMS .
  • Registration closes when the trainees total is completed.
  • Registration does not mean the final acceptance, a confirmation or an apology message is sent for those accepted, or non-admitted either  through e-mail or SMS.
