The Deanship of E-learning and Distance Learning Participates in Presenting a Training Course in Cooperation with the National Centre for E-learning and Distance Learning

The Deanship of e-learning and distance learning at the university presented a training course on the use of e-cloud in education (Cloud Computing in Education) in cooperation with the National Centre for e-learning and distance learning in Riyadh, in which a number of employees of the Saudi universities participated such as (King Saud University, Imam University, Najran University, Tabuk University, Qassim University, Salman bin Abdulaziz University, Taif University and King Abdulaziz University) and the number of employees of the Ministry of Education. The course was presented by Faisal Al-Shammari the faculty member at Majma'ah College education and the Training Unit Director at the Deanship of e-learning and distance learning. The training course was in distance through (virtual classroom).
 
The training course aimed to clarify the concept of cloud computing, as it has an effective impact in the field of e-learning, and a strong presence in the field of technological education for managers executives in the technology sector, analysts, vendors and developers. In this training course, the effect of e-cloud in education and its application in academic has been clarified too.
 
This training course came within the framework of the continuous cooperation between the Deanship of e-learning and distance learning at the university and the National Centre for e-learning and distance learning in the Ministry of Higher Education in order to develop the capacities of the beneficiaries in the field of e-learning, exchange experiences and provide quality.
